The Hoglet Houses were made for those wanting a little more luxury while still sharing part of the camping in York experience. Our award-winning facilities have everything you need to ensure your stay is as stress-free as possible.

Our Yorkshire campsite, The Hideaway, promotes the eco ethos: ‘As little impact on the environment as possible’. For us, sustainability is key, for the benefit of future generations. Where possible we use renewable energy sources and ask all campers to recycle! The hoglets have been designed for an eco-friendly family glamping break, with well-kept shared facilities designed to reduce your impact on the environment.

What is a Hoglet House?
A Hoglet House is a cosy wooden cabin offering a more off-grid glamping experience surrounded by nature.
Do Hoglet Houses have electricity?
No, Hoglet Houses do not have mains electricity. They include USB charging points and USB lighting only.
How are Hoglet Houses heated?
Hoglet Houses have log burners, making them warm and cosy even in colder months.
Can I charge devices in a Hoglet House?
Yes, USB charging is available inside the Hoglet House, and additional charging points are available in the main facilities building if needed.
