Our Facilities

Our holidays at the hideaway in Husthwaite have first-class facilities with a modern luxurious heated toilet and shower block for our guests to use. A baby changing facility, disabled toilet and chemical toilet disposal are also available. There is an indoor heated pot-wash room which includes a communal fridge and freezer that guests can use plus a drying room for wet boots and outdoor clothing! Not to mention for those staying at Rufus’s Roost and our Kabinas, your very own private jacuzzi, with our luxury York glamping hot tub holidays.

Our Thirsk glamping pods holidays are dog friendly! One dog per pitch/unit is welcome by arrangement at an additional charge, but only on leads. Please note that this is a firm house rule to protect wildlife and livestock. There is no dog exercise area on site, but the farm lanes and adjacent footpaths provide plenty of suitable space. 

We have a small shop located at reception supplying a few essentials that you may need while staying at Baxby Manor. From firelighters, matches and tent pegs to alcoholic drinks and ice creams, pop by and let us know what you need.

We supply large ‘Woodsure’ certified logs and bags of kindling for £12 and £3 respectively in the shop, or you are welcome to bring your own. We do ask that you do NOT forage around the site when staying at our glamping eco pods, so it is left to create and maintain our abundant wildlife habitats.

When it's time to get cooking, we have BBQ tripods available from Reception for £7.50 for the duration of your stay. (+£40 fully refundable deposit, must be brought back super clean!) We also stock eco-friendly firelighters.

We have our own on-site solar generation and battery storage plant plus any electricity taken from the grid is 100% Green and supplied by Octopus Energy. We ask all guests to recycle where possible and to divide up their glass, paper and plastics into our recycling hub! We only use Ecover, BioD and Splosh cleaning products to clean the facilities.
