The perfect place to unwind, but lots to do
It feels like home. We're not leaving!
We had a old friends reunion at Baxby Manor in October 2009, it was absolutely wonderful, cannot fault any aspect of our stay in this beautiful manor house.Barney Smith could not have been more helpful and was very welcoming, a nice thought was a welcome basket full of Yorkshire produce (not to mention the new laid eggs from nearby hens).Just a short drive from York and lots of interesting small market towns to visit, plenty to see and lots of good restaurant and pubs to eat in. We had a spectacular Sunday lunch at the Plough at Fadmore (near Kirkbymoorside). Highly recommended.
